She began her music education at the Talent School in Lviv (Ukraine). Then she studied at the local Mykola Lysenko Musical Academy, which she graduated in 2004 with a master's degree in art. Over the course of her studies, she participated in multiple master classes and competitions, winning many awards. Already in the second year of her studies, she started working as an accompanist for the violin and solo singing department. In 2003, at the invitation of the International Menuhin Music Academy in Gstaad (Switzerland), she became the official accompanist of master classes held at this prestigious institution. She was also a scholarship holder of the Wagner Society in Lviv and the Gaude Polonia programme run by the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
Since 2008, Olena Skrok has been collaborating with the Poznań Opera House, where she is the manager of a group of pianist-tutors, and since 2017 she is also the advisor to the music director. At the Poznań opera house, she was the musical director of small-scale productions of the operas "L’elisir d’amore" (2020) and "Don Giovanni" (2021), both directed by Ran Arthur Braun. Since 2010, the pianist has also been working at the Faculty of Vocal Performance and Acting at the Academy of Music in Poznań.
