Come to the Opera House – There’s So Much to Discover!

Lessons, workshops, walks, meetings… these are the opportunities to open your eyes wide, sharpen your hearing, and get moving. Curiosity is our guide. You've come to the right place if you have even a little bit of it!

Are you a guardian of a group of children or teenagers with an insatiable thirst for knowledge? Check out the section for organized groups. We’ll answer all your young charges’ questions with enthusiasm!

Is your child full of energy and brimming with creativity? You are very welcome. We have ample space and plenty of reasons to get creatively messy. Look for it in the children's section.

Are you your own captain, sailor, and ship navigating the waters of art? Great! In the adults’ section, you’ll find calm waters (meetings, lectures), as well as high waves (Chór Dziadów i Bab). What about us? We eagerly await the opportunity to meet you.

Ballet classes for children conducted in a friendly atmosphere by Natalia Trafankowska, a long-time soloist of the Poznań Opera Ballet.

Tame the Opera / Tame the Ballet

Contextual workshops, which we invite participants to attend before or after an opera or ballet performance included in the repertoire of the Poznań Opera House.

Lessons with Poznań Opera House

The sessions introduce audience to one of the four topics we have mastered to perfection: singing, ballet, characterization, or musical improvisation.

Theatre Backstage

A tour that includes the stage and backstage of the theatre, during which participants learn by whom and how the performances are created.

Fairy Tales with a Twist

An interactive performance that, through its fairy-tale plot, introduces preschool and early school-age children to the art of ballet in an engaging way. Our guide through the extraordinary world of dance is the Dreamer, who, with the help of her friends, acquires the skills needed by a professional dancer. We absorb knowledge alongside her and leave the room after the performance with smiles, moving on the tips of our toes.

Do you know Franek? He goes to your school and is in your class. Yes, that one! He sits in class wearing a hat, is friends with Kaśka, makes TikTok videos, and listens to sad music. Sometimes he pops into the guidance counselor’s office. Franek reads comments about himself online...

We invite a selected high school class to participate in dedicated workshops, meetings, and premieres at the Poznań Opera House.

Adults

Pre-Premiere Meetings

45 minutes before each premiere, we invite you to a meeting with the creators and special guests. We will discuss the preparation for the performance, ideas, plans, and concepts.

Chór Dziadów i Bab (Choir for Adults)

Unique choral workshops led by Maestro Grzegorz Wierus. The name is derived from one of Stanisław Moniuszko's songs, "Dziad i baba," which has become the anthem of the ensemble.

Ballet for Adults – Workshops

Ballet classes that successfully replace fitness or yoga, while also having the power to fulfill childhood dreams.

This is Theatre! – Meetings for Teachers

We invite teachers to the stage! Although perhaps not literally – we welcome discussions about contemporary theatre and its relationship with young audience.

Senior Club

Together, we discuss the latest premieres and ballet performances of the Poznań Opera House, as well as broaden our horizons – both theatrical and beyond!
