British Costume Designer Donna Raphael began her career as fashion stylist for adverts and music videos. She then moved into a career as a Costume Designer and has worked at The Royal Opera Covent Garden And The National Theatre. Internationally she has worked for many opera companies including La Monnaie, Brussels, Teatro Real, Madrid, the Stanivlasky theatre, Moscow, the Metropolitan Opera, New York, Teatro Colón, Argentina; The New National Theatre, Japan. Ballets includes Woolf Works (Wayne McGregor), Anastasia (Kenneth MacMillian).

For several years she worked for Lady Deborah MacMillian on international productions of Manon, Mayerling and Romeo and Juliet.

Film and TV credits include, Maleficent (Disney), Fury, Rise of the Tudors, (Ch 5), Queen Elizabeth’s I Secret Agents & WW1 final hours (BBC 2).

Donna’s many collaborations with Gerard Jones include Oreste and Carmen (The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden), Monteverdi Madrigals (Teatro Arriaga, Bilbao,Spain). The Marriage Of Figaro (Luzerner Theatre, Switzerland ).
