Robin studied music and drama at the University of Birmingham. He directed among others A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Guildhall School of Music and Drama) and Il matrimonio segreto (Cardiff International Academy of Voice/Barga Festival).
1993-2008 he worked for the Welsh National Opera as an Assistant and Revival Director. Robin collaborated among others with the stage director Katie Mitchell during Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and in the Royal Opera House. He is a guest tutor for the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.
