Viktor Davydiuk

A graduate of the State Ballet School in Kharkov and Belarus State High School of Choreography in the class of Uran Azimov. In August 2007 he began work as a ballet soloist in The Baltic Opera in Gdańsk and then as a soloist in Poznań Opera House where he played the parts in the performances of: “La Sylphide” (A. Bournonville), “Dangerous Relationships” (K. Pastor), “Things I Told Nobody” (I. Galili), “A Few Short Seqences” (J. Przybyłowicz), “Butterflies” (R. Be’er), “Creation of the World” (U. Scholtz), “Swan Lake” (K. Greve), “Four Last Songs” (R. van Dantzig).

“Carmen Suita” (music by G. Bizet and R. Szczedrin) and “Cavalry Stopover” (music by I. Armscheimer), created in 2013 and 2014 respectively, were the first choreographies of his own. Since 2014 he has been a ballet tutor and since 2016 an assistant choreographer at Poznań Opera House, co-working on the choreography to the performances of “Macbeth” (directed by O. Fredj), “Anna Karenina” (T. Kajdański) and “The Baltic Legend” (R. Bondara). On a daily basis he has been collaborating with Anna Niedźwiedź’s School of Ballet both as a choreographer and a dance tutor.

In 2017 his choreography for “The Seasons” by J. Haydn was presented during The Birgitta Festival in Tallinn.
