Olaf Przybytniak

Biogram

Continuing ballet traditions of his family he attended Roman Turczynowicz General Ballet School in Warsaw. At that time he began to perform at the stage of National Opera, dancing the Russian dances in “The Nutcracker” (choreographed by Toer van Schayk and Wayne Eagling), among others. He then learned under the tutelage of an exceptional classical educationalist Włodzimierz Bułanow at Olga Sławska-Lipczyńska State Ballet School in Poznań. He graduated the school with honors. During his educational years he was awarded a scholarship at the 9th edition of the International Ballet Competition “Golden Pointe Shoes 2016” and was a finalist of the 19th edition of Wojciech Wiesiołłowski National Dance Competition.

After graduation he got involved with Poznań Opera Ballet looking for possibilities of a further self-development. In 2018/2019 season he performed as a Puppet in “Trojan” (V. Davydiuk), Four Chevaliers in “Swan Lake” (K. Grave), “Anna Karenina” (T. Kajdański), “The Nutcracker” (S. Woźniak), and “Cinderella” (P. Chalmer).
