Born in Poznań. A long-standing member of the choir and a student of Jerzy Kurczewski school. Graduate of Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. Singer and conductor. Since 1997, associated with Poznań Opera House. Since 2007, he is the chorus master. Under his management the chorus has prepared for productions such as Wagner’s Parsifal, Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Tannhäuser, Bock/Stein’s Fiddler on the Roof, Haydn’s The Creation, Massenet’s Werther, Puccini’s La bohème, Dionizetti’s Maria Stuarda and L'elisir d'amore, Shostakovich’s Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District, Janaček’s Jenůfa, Verdi’s Macbeth, Messa da Requiem, Gounod’s Faust, Dvořák’s Rusalka or Brahms Ein deutsches Requiem – each time gaining wide recognition from the critics and the audience.
