Benedetta Mazzetto was born in Italy in 1994.

She approached music world singing since a very young age and playing the piano since at the age of 6.

At the age of 15 she started studying opera-singing privately.

In 2016 she was accepted to “Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi” in Como, where she gained her Bachelor’s degree with the highest mark and her Master’s degree with the highest marks and honors, under the guidance of the soprano Alessandra Ruffini.

In 2021-2022 she was one of the pupils of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna’s Scuola dell’Opera.

 

She reached the final round in several singing competition.

In 2020 she won the “Ars Magna by Omina Romana”’s prize in the 11th Ravello’s International Opera-Singing Competition.

In 2022 she won the 73rd AsLiCo Competition in Como.

 

She sang in several concerts around Italy and Europe.

In 2018 she debuted at Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona the role of Aristofane in La patienza di Socrate con due mogli, written by A. Draghi.

In 2019 she was Mary in Due ragazzi perbene, written by L. Casati.

In 2021 she sang the role of Carmen Gloria in Raffaello de Banfield’s Colloquio col tango, and the role of Paola Isoscele in Luciano Chailly’s Procedura Penale.

In 2022 she debuted as Balena/Madre in the contemporary opera Acquaprofonda written by G. Sollima at Teatro Sociale in Como, Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia, LAC in Lugano (Switzerland), Teatro Carcano in Milano.

In 2022 she will be Mrs Nolan in G. Menotti’s The Medium, at Teatro Grande in Brescia and at Festival Estense in Varese.

In October 2022 she will sing as Clotilde in V. Bellini’s Norma, at Teatro Grande in Brescia, at Teatro Sociale in Como, at Teatro Fraschini in Pavia, at Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona and at Teatro of Pisa.
