A sound engineer, music producer and audio technology enthusiast whose professional activities combine artistic sensibility with technical precision. He has been involved in music from an early age – his first steps in it were as a percussionist and keyboardist in youth bands, though at the same time he developed a parallel interest in musical equipment, production and the possibilities of sound technology. With time this combination of passion and skill grew into a fully-fledged profession.

Marcin Baran graduated in sound engineering and music technology from the Burton and South Derbyshire College, Burton on Trent, UK. Since then he has been active in the pro audio industry, amassing nearly two decades of experience in live concerts, studio recordings and music production.

He has under his belt projects encompassing almost all musical genres – from classical and jazz to pop and metal. He has collaborated with world-class stars, both in Poland and abroad.

Between 2020 and 2024 he was a full-time sound engineer at the Poznań Opera House, where he was responsible for the production of opera performances, concerts and special events. This experience expanded his competence in working with large musical forms and artistic ensembles.

Thanks to his long-standing contacts within the industry he also organises concert tours, music events and productions across Europe. In his work he combines high technical standards with a deep understanding of artists’ needs, which makes him a valued partner at every stage of the creative process.
