Andrei Yakushau
Biogram
Conductor, composer and arranger. In 2021 he graduated in opera and symphonic conducting from the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań with prof. Warcisław Kunc (master degree) and studied composition at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with prof.. Marcin Błażewicz (master degree). Since February 2022 he has held the position of assistant conductor at the Tadeusz Baird Philharmonic Orchestra of Zielona Góra. Since October 2021, he has been pursuing studies at the Doctoral School of Composition, Music Theory, Rithmetic and Music Education at the I.J. Paderewski in Poznań with a specialisation in composition in the class of Professor Artur Kroschel, Ph.D. at the Academy. From October 2021 to August 2022, he completed an internship as part of the Erasmus+ Internship programme at the Conservatorio Giovanni Battista Martini in Bologna (Italy) as an assistant with prof. Gian Paolo Luppi with a specialisation in composition and conducting. Since April 2018, he has been a member of the board of directors of the Youth Circle at the Polish Composers' Union. Winner of numerous competitions, scholarship holder of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage programme "Gaude Polonia" (2018).
